If any MLA has received -basic salary, TA, DA, etc., from Govt. whether this income is taxable fully or is it exempted fully or is any deductions or exemptions available.

MLA are not employee , and any amt received by them is taxable not as salary but as income from other source and taxable u/s 56. however daily allownace given to MLA exempted u/s 10(17)
