Dear Sir,
If I am drawing a salary Rs. 20000.00, how do you classified? like Basic %? + HRA %? + Medical Allowance %? + other allowance %?

Hey it would really depend on arrangement with your employer. For most of the employers, they fix the basic part and let the employee structure the rest variable part. For HRA calcualtion, you can use the formula mentioned in Income Tax Act for maximum benefit if you pay house rent. You can also include Rs. 800 as conveyance allowance. Thats on an overall basis I can say

no it varies from employer to employer that what % of CTC will be basic. I have seen 40-55%
