For any register which is to be maintained in book form and you are using the same in computerized leaf format, you have to intimate the AC/DC of division in writing, for your all records maintained you have to intimate the department at start of year, mention there specifically that your mode of RG-1 is in leafs produced at end of month. usually department allow loose leafs on day to day basis, where hundreds of transactions are taking place in a day, there is no such illustration that they will allow you to keep the data unprinted for a full month, it will lead manipulation to the data of production and clearence. preffered to use hard bound registers for DSA ( earlier RG1) to avoid any unwanted complication.
