If the due date to file income tax return of an assessee is 31st July 2012 and the return has not been filed timely...
The return filing date is 12/03/2013...and on the same day revised return has also been filed..
What are the circumstances...is there any penalty which have to be paid????

Dear Harshika,
If return is filed after due date, it cannot be revised. Then how did you file the revised return after due date.

but wait for the response of dept. if they accept then there is no problem against revised

Yes this is the only issue...
Revised return can only be filed if original return has been filed timely...
so how is it possible dat i filed revised return and it has been made..
