Reverse charge mechanism- sponsorship

28 August 2012 Dear Sir,

If a pharma company sponsor few doctors to attend a conference / seminar etc., whether the company has to pay service tax on this under RCM.Payment is directly made to the Institute who is organising conference.

28 August 2012 Company will pay the sponsorship fee to the institute who organising the conference and service tax paying by the company who is receiving the service.
