11 May 2008 Hi,

Revenue stamp needs to be affixed on a voucher when payments exceeding Rs. 5000/- made in cash.
What are the organisations to which this rule is applicable..???
Whether this rule is applicable to a Trust / NGO making payments in cash of Rs. 5000/- or above..???

Any info / extracts on the above subject wil be of gr8 help..!!!

However, This is the matter of state revenue and totally depend on the respective state revenue acts but in any case it is applicable to all organizations even trusts and NGOs.
