02 July 2011 Difference between unbilled revenue and unearned revenue

Pls give answer with an eg.

02 July 2011 Unbilled revenue is one for which work has been compeleted and bill has not been raised.

Unearned revenue is for which bill has been raised but amount not received or if received lesser amount received.

04 July 2011 Hi aditya i m not satisfied with ur meaning with the term unearned revenue. In case of satyam annual report it totally has a different meaning (see 09-10 Annual report of satyam)
