return filing of non resident

18 June 2010 I have been transfered to Dubai(PNB) during the last fY 2009-10 in the month of August. Please guide me how i fill my return as i have earn some salary in India while some in dubai. Moreover, whether i am eligble for refund.

18 June 2010 Since u were out of India for more than 182 days you are a non resident.

So only income accrued in India is taxable. Salary earned in Dubai will not be taxable.

You can file ur return in the normal income tax return forms and select residential status as non resident in the form.
