07 January 2013 My relative received an notice from income tax authorities for filing of i.t. return for the a.y. 2010-2011. Since, the assessee expired in the month of january 2011, the person is not capacity to file the return.
what i do now ?

25 July 2013 If his wife is alive then as a legal heir she can file if his son is alive then his son as a legal heir can file the return under the PAN of your assessee.
