Can some body tell me whether there is any requirement of board resolution for SALE OF OLD CARS.

Give your opinion with proper section. Please must reply.

20 May 2010 Dear Joginder,
As per my experience the sale of old cars(fully depriciated) is not requiring an resolution but a proper consent/permission of the responsible authorities must be there on paper/mails.Then the advrt is to be given in NP and sealed quotations should be invited which should be opened on a predeclared day by the responsible person in presence of other authorized employees.
