Resigning as a paid assistnt

18 July 2010 Iam Qualified CA . presently i am a paid assistant in one firm. Institute update my name in their constitution certificate as paid assistant. I have offer from another company so i wan to resign here. for that what the formality ,can i directly intimate to the Institute to remove my name. otherwise Partners permission is required,

01 August 2010 Since you are a paid assistant and not a partner hence the moment (according to your terms and conditions) you resign; you are relieved.

Partner's permission is not required.

Whenever you will join other firm; the new employer will send the information to the ICAI.
