Reset income tax login password

09 November 2013 Earlier it was possible to Reset Login ID password of Effilling Income tax website by sending required details on validate@income tax india.gov.in but now its not possible as we are not getting any replies. So now what we have to do if we want to reset Password if we dont know secret answers set by earlier tax consultant????

09 November 2013 For resetting the password, by providing the
particulars of earlier e-filed return and bank account number -you may reset the password.

For this -you have to enter into Registered User's login at the e-filing website.
