I want to ask you a question regarding reprint of pan card............my father had applied for pan card of HUF in year 2003 through UTI but not received till date. he got the PANo through a CA but not DOI.
what should he do for obtaining the pan card....please tell me the procedure in detail for obtaining the new pan card with OLD PANo......

SINCE YOU DONT HAVE DOI AND NEITHER XEROX COPY OF PAN CARD OR PAN ALLOTMENT LETTER I DONT THINK IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO FILE A CORRECTION FORM. DEAR SAURABH I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER ANY RETURN OF THAT HUF HAS BEEN FILED EARLIER?

IF YOU HAVE PAN NO WITH DOI , THEN YOU HAVE TO REGISTER PAN NO WITH EFILING SITE AND AFTER LOGIN GO TO SERVICES " KNOW YOU PAN NO. " BY WHICH YOU WILL ABLE TO PRINT PROOF OF PAN CARD RETAINED BY YOU IN NAME OF HUF.
THEN YOU HAVE TO FILE CORRECTION FORM BY SUPPORTING THIS DOCUMENTS AND RETURN IF ANY YOU FILED.

The tax department says they have dispatched it but you haven't got it yet?
Don't fret. You can get a duplicate.
In every city, there is a central office in the Income Tax Department in charge of allotting these numbers.
Approach that cell. You can start by contacting the public relations officer of the Income Tax Department and asking for the address of the PAN cell.
If you say you have not got it and they claim they have dispatched it, you will need to sign an affidavit saying you have not received it before they provide you with a duplicate PAN Card.
