Sir I would like to question is if my client receives rent for Rs.100000/- monthly through cheque from the bank lease then is he liable to report to the department. Pl clarify the form no he has to fill if he is liable. Regards

he supposed to file his/her tax return and offer this income as income from house property. Which form to file will depend on what other source of incomes he/she has.
