05 March 2014 usually they ask for any amount but mostly now its compulsory to quote pan of landlord if anmount exceeds 1 lakh..

But Sir, upto Rs.8000/- rent p.m, there is no need of producing agreement copy? Just rent receipt is enough?

05 March 2014 ya i said in general they ask for 8000 means only 96000 then there is no rule that u must produce but it is a general practice.
