I want to know the rate percentage should be deducted whether it is 10.30% or 4.12% or 4.99%, Pls clear my doubts as soon as possible

18 June 2009 There is no deduction like TDS.

The rate depends on the exemption claimed. Abatements are available of 60%, 75%. On th ebalance i.e. 40 or 25 the ST rate of 10.3% is to be applied.
