03 March 2012 i didnt claimed relief u/s 89 while giving income statement, so tds was deducted from salary for the arrears also of 2010-11 received in current f.y. now can i claim relief during it return filing in july?

03 March 2012 Ofcourse, it can be claimed while filling return in July & claim refund if any accordingly.

03 March 2012 89 Relief can be claim only in the year in which year the arrears received at the time of filing of Incometax return for such year.

06 March 2012 At the TTI Shedule there is an option of Tax relief under section 89 file the relief amount their.
