TOTAL ARREARS OF SALARY FROM SEP 2005 TO JAN 2013 RS.1250000 AND TO BE PAID IN FIVE EQUAL INSTALLMENTS AND SO CLIENT RECEIVED RS. 500000 i.e TWO INSTALLMENTS IN F.Y 2014-15. HOW CALCULATION OF ARREARS FROM F.Y 2005-06 TO F.Y 2012-13 TO BE DONE.PLS GUIDE.

You need to fill Form 10E of the Income Tax Rules 1962, that will give you all the workings needed for Section 89.
