Hey Friends!! CAN ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT THE BONUS ISSUE MADE BY RELIANCE RECENTLY...MY QUESTION IS THE BONUS ISSUE WERE MADE OUT OF SECURITIES PREMIUM OF COMPANY OR WERE ISSUED FROM PROMOTERS QUOTA?

are u sure? bcoz i have got news that the reliance board of directors have give up their issue and alloted the same to shareholders as bonus.

THE 3:5 BONUS DECLARED BY RELIANCE POWER BOARD I BELIEVE IS FROM SHARE PREMIUM BECAUSE SEC 78 OF COMPANY'S ACT ALLOW THE SAME.
THE CONFUSION IN THE QUERY IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT PROMOTERS DID NOT OPT FOR BONUS FOR PROMOTER QUOTA, BUT ONLY FOR PUBLIC PORTION ALONE.NO PROPMOTER GETS BONUS. ONLY PUBLIC.
