26 October 2008 Credit rating agencies assigns various kind of ratings to financial instruments such as bonds after considering lot of factors.One such rating is Non investment Grade.So bonds which fall under this category popularly known as junk Bonds.Bonds of Ford motors,General motors in US is an example of such bonds
