Dear Sir, i want to make registration in service tax of co-operative bank who has ten branches but does not have centralize billing system while bank is want to furnish a complied return and challans at head office level. so please tell me,which type of registration is required single premises or centralize registration pleas give me asnswer.

As per rule 4(2) of Service Tax Rules, 1994, for exercising of centralized registration option, one should have either centralized billing or centralized accounting systems. If both are absent in that event individual premises and offices need to be registered separately and file returns separately.
