Mr. PK Mishra, You have to apply in Form-1 along with a court fee stamp of Rs100/-,photographs,residence proof,partnership deed(for firms),company bye laws, etc.You better approach your concerned VAT office. You can also apply on line. The VAT officer will decide about the quantum of security deposit....MJK

Mr PK Mishra, All the branches are included in one certificate only.Furnishing trade licences is optional.Open up the West Bengal commercial tax web site liek www.wbcomtax.nic.in etcand clik the new registration.That gives you many details. MJK
