Sir can you explain if a assessee didn't file his return in past. Can he file his return for back date. If yes then for how many years he can a file a return also note that his TDS is being deducted in past. Please provide the answer with section.

Belated return can be filed upto one year from the end of the relevant assessment year. ie., Upto March 2015, you can file return for AY 2013-14 (FY 2012-13). All earlier returns are time barred. you cannot file such returns unless u receive notice from the department.
