can you tel me the year limit for professional charges?
one party given me the bill with amount 16500+Service tax 12.36%=18539/-.the same party give me an invoice with amount 20000+12.36%ST can i deduct TDS from this party.

16 October 2013 Yearly threshold limit under section 194J is Rs.30000/- since your both bills total exceeds Rs.30000, you need to deduct tds @ rate 10% on total both bills

16 October 2013 Yes u need to deduct tds as the gross amount exceeds the threshold limit u/s 194J.
