sir, thanks in advance. one of my client's brother given his pan number to a advocate and he was make it registered with income tax deptt. site but couldn't link activate. Now, that advocate is no more and we are unknown to provided e-mail address and contact number. Please help us, how to activate link on our email? We are not able to download TDS certificate from traces. Please help as soon as possible. vikas

write a fresh and separate e mail from your e mil id, giving your mobile number as well as PAN information, stating the facts as queried by you viz......advocate is no more etc etc..... and send it to Income Tax department. efilingwebmanager@incometax.gov.in OR you can call the call centre as well ...1800 180 1961

You have to send email to validate@incometax.gov.in with all personal details i.e pan,dob,name,father's name, address,contact no. with request of validation. after validation within 48-72 hours you can reset password using your mobile no. and email id.
