WE HAVE A PHARMA UNIT IN SEZ, WE ARE RECEIVING VARIOUS SERVICES WHETHER WE REQUIRED TO TAKE SERVICE TAX REGISTRATION OR SERVICE TAX CODE?

IF SERVICE TAX CODE THEN WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE OF THE SAME?

It is not required to register with service tax authorities; however in case you want to claim of refund service tax paid on input services, you need to file an application under Notification 9/2009.
However, it is advisable to obtain service tax registration.
