can any body tell me how many days can a final old student can take leave in a period of 3yrs some are saying 138 days and some are saying 180 days or 1/6 of the period served wei lower please help me in the issue waiting for ur reply

See there was a confusion between what articleship leave rules are applicable as during the time of articleship the rules were amended from 1/7 to 1/6. During my articleship period i was from PE - II background and at that time one of my friends had taken 147 days of leave during articleship and it was mentioned that 10 extra days of leave was taken at the time of trnasfer and so further articles be entered over such period so that the excess leaves also get covered. I am stating from that experience only.
If your friends currently are getting confirmation without any excess leaves mentioned then you can also follow them as it is very subjective that in which category we fall in.

sir then we can take upto 138 days leave and over and above that leaves we have to work for the excess ?
in my case in re registration certificate they have mentioned that i have taken 54 days of excess leave so now i have to do all these excess leave of 54 days or only those excess leave what we have taken over and above 138 days, my actual completion of articles is 25th august still i am working how many days should i extend my articles please suggest me

thanks for replying sir my another query is, they had calculated the 54 days of leave by taking 1/8 of the actual period served now i had completed 3yrs excluding excess leave so iam eligible for the 138 days basic leave then the excess of leave taken in excess of 138 days is enough for completing the article ship period
the caculation is as follows:
totla worked before taking termination= 28.16 months which comes to 868 days according to 1/8 rule i am eligible to 108 days actual leave days i had taken before re registering is 162 days excess leave is 162-108=54 days now for 3 yrs i can take 138 days of leave still to be worked is 162-138=24 days plus the leave taken during tenure of present employer i had taken 7 days of leave then total of 31 days excess i have to work is this calculation is correct or not? please reply sir
