Dear Sir/ Madam, An assessee had an pan for more than 10 years which is used for the salary purpose, but recently they shifted their house during which the pan card was misplaced for which they had applied for another new pan card and also they got it done. So, now there is sale of property for which they have used the second pan. Now my doubt is that whether keeping more than one pan for a salaried person, if so what is the solution for this kind of issue? Thanking You Regards, C. Venkata Subramanian

Sir, then if the new pan is surrender now will the credit amount of tds made by sale of property be available while filing the returns for this year?
One of the salaried assessee had been having two pan out of which one is being applied for surrender. The procedure followed for is that I got a link for surrendering the pan in which it first asked for the pan which is to be retained details and then it asked for the pan details which is to be surrender. My doubt is that is it right way to make the surrender online and if yes then how many does it take for the surrendering procedure to get completed?
The following is the link being used for applying for surrender, is this the right one, http://incometax.sparshindia.com/pan/newPAN.asp?
