Work in that firm is legal type as my principal's wife is a lawyer and my principal has not much work to do at most 30 to 40% work I do as in CA firm and remaining I have to do the legal work. I am only the article there no other articles. I want to drop CA course cancel my registration as my principal is not ready to sign Termination form.
Please tell me the procedure to drop the course/cancel my registration number.
I want to terminate the whole course right now as I want to do job as per personal requirements please tell me the solution as my principal is not signing the form.

01. First and foremost thing...if you are determined to QUIT, no one can stop you.
02. Transfer /termination of articles are permitted without any restriction during the first year of articles.
03. Download form 109 from ICAI site.
04. Ask some other CA or branch office bearer or regional council member or central council member to look into the matter
05. If that is NOT available to you, write a regd A.D. letter to your CA, the copy of which should go to the concerned decentralised office. (In this letter ask him to sign the form)

Regd A.D. means A registered letter with Acknowledgement Due. It gives you the acknowledgement that the letter has been received by the addressee.
See, try to note one thing....within first year of articleship, there is as such NO bar in either TRANSFER or TERMINATION. Since your CA, may be s/he is of the opinion that you should continue with the CA course and not go to service sector, is NOT signing the 109form, you need to prove that you have taken reasonable and just and sufficient efforts so to do AND then you have resorted to such semi LEGAL means.

sir I have decided to quit, my principal is not interested in whether to continue or not he is not signing the form as I am only the person on whom he is depending.
Please share the process to quit the course. Also please share the format of the said letter.

Please try to understand.....QUITTING is very simple. You dont have to worry at all. Just write a letter stating all these facts that you want to QUIT but your CA is not allowing you to do so....and ....every thing you want to put....etc etc....
Attach form no 109 duly signed by you
Send it to your CA, requesting him/her to submit the same onwards to the concerned decentralised office and just sit quiet.
He will do all the things for you....
If possible take the help of some good lawyer for preparation of note/paper book.
