18 June 2013 Kindly update me or clear
difference between certificate of incorporation and certificate of commencement of business.

19 June 2013 Certificate of incorporation refers to the registration of the company and it is required for all companies either it is private or public limited company.

whereas, the certificate of commencement of business refers to start the business operations and only required by public limited companies.

hence, the private company can start its business operations immediately after getting the certificate of incorporation and public limited company will start its operations after getting certificate of commencement of business.

20 June 2013 if a company directly come as limited company than that requires certificate of incorporate or not.

20 June 2013 Company can either be a private limited or public limited or guarantee limited, if you need to register a company you have to register it with the respective securities and exchange commission. if it is private limited or single member company you need to get only certificate of incorporation and in other two cases i.e. public limited or guarantee limited you have to get certificate of commence of business as well.
