24 February 2012 Sir i have recd purhase bill of Sept,11 in Feb,2012. My query is that can i book the bill in feb,12 & take the input vat credit in Feb,12 or should file revise VAT return for Sept,11 & take the input vat credit in Sept,12 itself

28 February 2012 You can do both because assessement is done for a year. And it will not make much difference to department.
