The due date for filing the returns by the domestic company is 31.10.2004 for the A.Y 2004 - 05 which is sunday therefore the assessee filed the returns on Monday the next day i.e 01.11.2004.wheather it is an belated return or a return filed with in a due date ?Kindly clarify my doubt.

Yes, we file the same on the next working day. In this case it will not be treated as belated return and it will treated as return filed within the due date.
