Refund of security deposit

02 October 2015 Can any one guide me for a claim of security deposit Rs.25000 under MAHARASHTRA vat act if 48 months already expired after the month of registration?(Month of registration June 2011)

02 October 2015 You have to approach your VAT office where you registered with an application on plain paper requestin gto cancel the registration and refund the security deposit.They will see your account in their system and then tell you the position and what is needed to be done......mjk

03 October 2015 Thanks for your reply sir,but in my case I don't have to cancel the registration but claim the deposit & accordingto rule time limit to claim refund is expired. Is the solution still be available with the vat officer?
