26 June 2014 My boss has proprietary ship and we filed IT returns, received IT refund from Dept.
But the problem is in the Cq metioned as MYBOSSNAME_PANNO_BANKACCOUNT.

But we dont have account in the name of myboss, we have account on that bank in proprietary ship name.
can we deposit the cq .
pls suggest us.

26 June 2014 well hard to believe that the person doesnt have a bank account in his name...the bank wont clear the cheque if it is in a different name...

kindly open another account in person's name and apply for reissue of refund cheque

we have proprietary ship account on that bank, which the account no mentioned.

26 June 2014 so apply for reissue of refund cheque and provide the new account number in the request

26 June 2014 But the Pan number & bank account number is same on cheque.

only difference is proprietor name instead of
proprietor ship name.

is there any possible if we talk to bank manager.

26 June 2014 you can try..the cheques are cleared finally by SBI...unless all the details match, you wont get credit.

26 June 2014 you can give the declaration with the bank that prop. of firm is ....... and his pan is .......
after that if bank not give the credit then you can correction with income tax deptt.
