IF In case of a assessee there is a refund of Rs.250000 in A.Y. 2015-16. But due to non filing of P&l account the return of the assessee become invalidate. then in such case what is the correct way to claim such refund.please advise me asap.

contact the CIT of the assessee's jurisdiction and request for permission to file the return.
