13 December 2007 Sir, Whether Gases (e.g. Co2, Oxygene) used for manufacturing (welding etc)will be termed as fuel ?
If yes Whether Reduction Rule to Apply for taking VAT set off on above Gases

13 December 2007 If gas is used as fuel then set off *@ 3% is to be reduced U/r 53.
* Upto 04/04/2007 Reduction rate is 4%
