Dear Sir, Deduction under Chapter VI has increased from 1 lac to 1.5 lac.Please clear me whether benefit of increased amount is available for PPF only or he can invest in any other scheme

The total deduction is available for 80C n not for PPF. So u can claim all the other investments u/s 80C as was earlier. But now u can claim 1.5L instead of 1L.
