01 November 2013 whether housing loan interest u/s 24 can be considered for checking eligibility for claiming rebate u/s 87A.

01 November 2013 only condition to claim 87A rebate is

1)assesse should be resident in india

2)total income afer chapter VIA deductions shall not exceed 5 lakhs
