Hi, I want to know were an Association of Hotels & Restuarents has to register first. later what obligations will atract to it from Income tax side? Its an association formed by hotels & restuarats their main sorce of receipt is from subscriptions of members & collections from Cricket tournament organised for members .

They will have to register under societies Registration Act, if they want to get a status of suing or being sued on causes for which they were formed. On the income tax side they will be treated as AOP, but with a separate status.
