CAN A PETITION BE FILED BEFORE COMMISSIONER OF APPEALS FOR RECTIFICATION OF ORDERS PASSED BY HIM. IF YES UNDER WHICH PROVISION OF THE ACT EMPOWERS?

The pettion can be filed before CIT(A) rectification of the order of the CIT(A) under section 154 as CIT(A) is an tax authority within the meaning of secton 116 of IT Act 1961.
