16 October 2011 Hey..

I'm doing BBA from IP University (3rd year) and I'm doing CS as well. I have cleared my foundation level. I'm a little confused about the course, I would really appreciate if any one could exactly tell me what all are the job prospectives for a CS? What all are the areas where a CS is required?? Last but not the least, how much is the package which is offered to a CS( minimum and maximum.

Looking forward to your replies

16 October 2011 CSs are highly paid professionals. The boom in the economy has led to further demand for the professionals.
They are needed in various sectors and industries such as manufacturing, service, as also in financial sector, capital market, banking etc. Today a fresh CS can expect a starting pay of Rs. 25000/- and more and it can go up to 50000/- within 2-3 years of experience.

Most of the companies pay a very good premium to the qualification and offer incentives to retain the right people. As an eye and ear to the Board, a CS is one of the most promising career opportunities for professionals.

10 November 2011 Appointment of whole time CS is a legal requirement for a company. Kindly refer section 383A of the companies act, 1956.

The job prospective for a CS are quite good and there is no need to worry.
