11 February 2017 Better get a gift deed registered in your name. Consult a lawyer and obtain signature of family members if required in the gift deed.

11 February 2017 thank you sir, your honour, deed of gift was executed & registered on 26th april 1996 & signed willingly by donor & donee & also mother-in-law as 2nd donee. (donor being expired recently 3 yrs) on 27th feb 2008 sanad executed & signed by deputy collector & all the 3 children signed (2 witnesses & 1 on my behalf as applicant since I was unavailable) all the family members has signed on different occasions. now 8 yrs ago my house was constructed. now only the same brother-in-law & and no one else claims that he has the share in it & wants to go to court. is it possible your honour.

11 February 2017 donor: father-in-law, title holder, and expired almost 15 yrs after deed registration. 2nd donor: mother-in-law, living, (only signed & in gift deed her name is not written) younger brother-in-law: signed on my behalf to receive sanad document. elder brother-in-law: signed as sanad witness on sanad younger sister-in-law: signed as 2nd witness on sanad.

12 February 2017 As they are aware of the gift not raised any objection then, now they can't claim any right over it. Raise the query in lawyers club being legal matter. Link is there below.

Is it that they should have objected before the registration of gift deed, ie in 1996, and now nothing is possible for them, or is it that they have loopholes to benefit them.
