26 April 2012 Can the share capital subscribed by promoters be less than Rs. 1 Lac in a private limited company ( promoters wanted to subscribe for 60% of the capital and want to give the remaining 40% to outside fund after incorporation )

The promoter i.e. the subscriber of the memorandum should bring at least one lakh capital to the company.
