If an employee is working in Delhi and his employer from Indore (M P).Employee is receiving salary from Indore office. Is there any professional tax liability on employer for employee working in delhi.

02 April 2008 Yes of course, there is. Professional Tax is a state tax. Even Delhi has its own slab of deducting Professional Tax.
