A person receives salary from two companies. Say from X Ltd. he gets Rs. 20000/- per month and from Y Ltd. he gets Rs. 20000/- per month. Is he liable to professional tax on the complete Rs. 40000/- per month or both the companies will deduct professional tax separately.The person is earning salary in kolkata(west bengal)
