There is a confusion over a person who is a CPA, IS he eligbile to become member of ICAI?. If so, the notification also pls forward. Have been trying to get it from Institute site, not able to succeed.

No till earlier- Person with CPA cant be the member of ICAI, but now- ICAI memorandum with CPA Aus, a CPA Aus can be the member of ICAI but he has to pass some papers of ICAI (3 or 4 papers) with some other requirements...!!! But u must know that a CPA Aus without giving any paper cant be the member of Institute...!!! For ur other reference, Earlier, A person with a ICAEW degree was eligible to be the member but this has been withdrawn by the council of the institute on 8th dec.,1995.!!!
