09 January 2011 Whether profession Tax payable is separate for business and the employee? Whether2500 is payable for both?

09 January 2011 Professional Tax is Payable by a person carrying on business or profession.

An employer has to pay professional tax for
himself and he has been given additional responsibility to collect professional tax of its employees and deposit the same with the government. 2500/ is for the business man.
From employees salary monthly deduction is made.
