As per earlier ICAI notifies re-totaling of answer sheets and the fee for re-totaling of answer sheets got revised as Rs.100/- per paper and a maximum of Rs. 300/- for one group effective from may 2008 declaration of results.
PROCEDURE
Write an application by hand giving detail w.r.t. your Roll Number, Attempted Group, papers desired to be revalued and attach the required fees by way of postal order favour of Secretary, ICAI. Result will be out in max of 30 days. Chances are low but you can’t say.

Procedure for Verification of Answer Books of Chartered Accountants Professional Education- II/ Professional Competence/ Final Examinations-(30-01-2009)
The fee for verification of answer books is Rs. 100/- per paper subject to a maximum of Rs. 400/- for all the papers of a group/ both groups.
The application essentially in the candidate’s own handwriting indicating Roll No., address, and paper(s) to be verified should be submitted within a month from the date of declaration of result.
Typewritten applications are not entertained.
There is no provision for re-valuation of papers.
There is no standard application form.
Request for verification will be considered only after the application in the candidate’s own handwriting in Hindi language if the medium of examination was Hindi else in English language duly signed with requisite fee by way of DD in favour of the Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and payable at New Delhi is received within one month from the date of declaration of result.

ICAI - Announcement Sub: UPWARD REVISION OF VERIFICATION FEE OF THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS EXAMINATIONS The Council of the Institute has decided to increase the verification fee of answer books of the Chartered Accountants Examinations and accordingly , the revised verification fee will be Rs. 100/- per paper, subject to a maximum of Rs. 400/- effective from May 2008 Chartered Accountants Examinations.
Candidates intending to apply for verification of answer books after the declaration of results of May 2008 CA Examinations may kindly note the above change in verification fee and pay the revised fee as indicated above alongwith the application for verification of answer books.
