Procedure for dematerialised the shares

Please resolve my query that i have lost the original share certificates and i have the photocopies of those share certificates and i did not lodge FIR in this context and today i want to dematerialised those shares
so kindly help me that how could i dematerialised those shares and tell me the full procedure for it at the earliest as it is very urgent

04 September 2011 First, you send a letter to the registrar of the company regarding that, issue a duplicate share certificate. They will cancell the original share certificate and issue a duplicate share certificate.

Then, you apply for dematerisation of shares with your demat provider.

These procedure will take, normally 2 to 3 months. You can't get solution in urgent.
