if a conpany provides printing service to its customers by outsourcing the same, then what are the tax implications on the company?
is the company liable to pay service tax on it or excise duty? please give a detailed reply.

NO EXCISE DUTY APPLICABLE.
service tax applicable when income exceeds rs 10 lakhs.

BUT when we print on a paper, a new product comes into existence with distinct function. now wouldn't it attract excise duty?

when u print then printing will not produce a new paper as paper is already a manufactured dutiable product so nothing new comes out of it.
